Episode summary: The senate campaign intensifies as the election draws ever nearer. Jonathan has to deal with increasingly serious threats from a group of over-zealous Lex supporters. Unhappy with his campaign manager, he hires Lois as a replacement. Meanwhile, Clark and Lana’s relationship is strained due to a stagnation in their sex life over Clark wanting to keep his abilities a secret from her.
