Episode summary: Senator Jack Jennings, a long time friend of Jonathan, pays a visit to the farm when he hears the news that Lex Luthor is to run against him in the forthcoming election. Jonathan questions Jack’s integrity when he is implicated in the hit and run murder of a 19-year-old stripper outside an exclusive club in Metropolis. Sensing this might be her first big story for The Daily Planet, Chloe enlists the help of Lois and Clark in investigating the murder.
